Hello,
I have had no luck finding a Seadoo cover for my 2004 Sportster LE. I was wondering if any of you who have gone with the aftermarket brands could suggest one that holds up well. I am located in the Niagara Region of Ontario Canada.
On a side note I was curious to know if when at idle is this boat supposed to increase throttle when the stering wheel is cranked hard left or right? It only happens when wheel reaches the stops, when backed off slightly from the stops it returns to normal idle. I find it odd since the throttle is sepate from the steering. I just wondered if it was designed this way or should I be investigating the cable layout for binding with throttle cable.

Thank you for any & all responses in advance.

Can't help with the cover but the steering is design that way so you can manouver easier at slower speed, docking etc. Quite useful if you ask me

Thanks whitewheels
I suspected it was built that way only because it only did it at extremes no build up like what would happen with binding cables.

Princess auto has “boat covers”. They do fit I bought one last year cost was approximately 200 to 250 I think. Oh and Ime in nb so the price was in Canadian dollars

I have not had my 97 speedster in the water yet, but i noticed those "throttle" cables coming off the steering assembly. whitewheels.....how does this make it easier to manouver at low speedster if the throttle increases at extreme turns?

You get that extra puch in steering, without it it takes ages at idle to get the boat to turn

interesting....i just finished getting my boat put together. Garden hose test tomorrow then into the river for the first water test.....i will test the full steering throttle trick tomorrow.

OuterArmor cover. Trailerable and nice fit with single ratchet tie down. A little pricy inCAD but worth it in my option.

Nice cover but more than I require. I ended up going with Classic Accessories StormPro Boat Cover "B"
Locally available at Princess Auto & I also found it at Walmart but both places only offer it during summer months. I don't trailer the boat anywhere it's only a mooring cover in my case.
