Speedster wanders

I have a 2008 Speedster 200 430 HP and if I’m down cruising at a steady speed the boat dip’s left. It is very slight but very annoying. Haven’t been able to figure out why. I have tried the engines at different rpm’s but it seems to make no difference. The faster I go the less it does it but at low to intermediate speeds it is pretty constant. Any ideas?

If varying the rpms doesn't make a difference, then either a jet nozzle is not straight, the steering linkage is off center, OR...and much more likely, there is a weight distribution problem. Make sure you have all your "stuff" packed evenly and not more heavily on one side than the other. If that's not it, then I got nothing.....

Thanks , I don’t have much in the boat so likely have to take it into a dealer to get the jets and linkage checked. Thanks for the help.

I don't have a Speedster, but when my 180 does this I adjust the load and it stops. For example, having one of the passengers move left or right on the back seat cures it. Tough to accomplish if you're in the boat alone. A speed change also helps. I don't think this is anything your dealer will be able to fix.

Yes I've tried moving people around and trying different speeds. Thanks for the reply. Tom
