Speedster MPEM compatibility

i have a 98 that had a burnt out 204470155. Is it possible to use a 204470184 thats off a 99 Speedster?

i would think so, its same boat..787's, just different colors.

thanks for the reply. i have a wire diagram for the 98. the mpems appear to have the same profile. i see the 184 was on a 1999 717's. i cant see there being any difference in the two despite the engine size.

im going to search for the wire diagram for the 99 i am looking at so i can tell if theres any wires in different spots on the connector.

wont work. Completely different stator/output capabilities. The "184" is from a Speedster SK. The "speedster" boats, have the 787's.
