Part# 204340073
The original portside engine hose had a massive hole in it when it was purchased 2nd hand and the seadoo guys replaced it with what now appears to be an alternative product made of a different material. I didn't really care because it worked I didn't know any better anyway. But now its got a crack in it and searching the part # shows that there are no replacements parts on any of the part dealers.
Does anyone know a suitable alternative that they are aware of? I searched this forum and all the part dealers thoroughly and found nothing relating to that Part# 204340073
BTW the crack leaks just a small amount into the bilge. I rotated the hose around so the crack is not facing downards in what I hope will prevent water from leaking out but then i realised its probably pressurised and wouldn't do much either way... in some futile attempt I used some marine grade sillicone over the crack and will reinforce it with some weather resistant duct tape. Bad idea?
Thanks once again
