Hi Folks,
My boat (purchased last summer) has a bilge pump that ONLY works when I turn the switch on that is located on the console up front. It will run forever if I don't turn the switch off. I was going to install a float switch when I noticed a module near the bilge pump. I think that the following link shows it as a "water sensor" (item #30).

I wonder if it is just not operating. How is this setup supposed to work? With the switch on, is the pump supposed to shut off automatically? If so I could just leave it on when attached to the mooring and it should auto-bilge. Correct?
