Speed Ties - Are They Worth It?

Considering ordering two sets of speed ties for my new 2013 GTX-S 155s.

Thought I would ask members here if they really work well before I dish out over $300 for the two sets.

Not in my opinion. They only work with the special brackets that are attached to YOUR dock.

If they had loops on the ends I would get them.

I have them on my rxt-260 I love them. The one mounts on the left side under the handle bar and one in the rear middle. It’s nice that you pull up to a dock and tie off without having to lift the storage hatch. I use the one in the middle for short periods on the dock. I use both when I’m tied up for a while lunch, overnight. They are very easy to mount. A drill to drill out a couple rivets, a rivet gun. Here is a link to another thread about this..

I have them and think that they are convenient. It's nice to be able to pull out the line to tie my ski to the doc without having to take out a rope and stow it when I'm done . I don't always use the front and rear tie. I usually tie the front if I'm launching the ski and parking my truck. Sometimes it takes a little work to get the line to fully retract but they work well overall
