Spark full of water

Went away for a weekend came home and my Seadoo spark had 2 feet of water in the engine compartment, the positive battery cable looks like it's been cut off , is this a safety feature

How did it fill up?

No clue the drainage plug was in , no holes in the hull I'm kinda lost actually

It almost looks like corrosion ate that positive lead. Are you sure the water wasn't sitting in there for longer - the red rubber cap is even discoloured.

I would say pull it out full of water and see where it empties - that'll tell you where the water entered in the first place.
