I am selling (or trading) my 1997 Seadoo XP, a 1997 Seadoo GSX, and a Hustler trailer. I live in Gaithersburg Maryland and we're currently under lockdown to include no recreational boating. With the current situation I realize we won't be able to meet on the water until the lock-down is lifted, but I figure these things take time to sort out so I posted the listing for your consideration and to give you something to look forward to when everything clears up. =)
I have poured a lot of time into restoring these and it definitely shows. They are absolutely beautiful and they work great. I did all of this work over the last couple years.
Work includes, rebuilt carburetors, full tuneup, exhaust repair, new AGM batteries, pump bearing replacement, new wear rings, all new fuel lines, new fuel filters, new hand grips, seats reupholstered, new neoprene foot mats, RAVE cleanings, a full polish, and custom graphics designed and applied by me (you'll never see another with the same graphics).
They are good to go for a day of riding, and I can confirm they hit 54mph on GPS. They both have very low hours as well. (last i checked they were around 90hrs) Both seadoos have clean and clear title in my name, the trailer has a bill of sale.
Price for everything is $3800 cash or comparable trade. For a trade I'm looking for a bowrider ski boat. It has to be at least 21ft and be in good working condition. Cosmetic issues are not a deal breaker, and I'm not opposed to adding cash for the right boat so let me know what you have. would like to meet on the water so neither of us have any surprises so obviously that will have to wait until the lockdown is lifted. **NOTE** If anyone wants to see them before the lockdown is lifted you can, but we won't be able to water-test so they would be sold as-is. Of course I can start them up in my yard, but I know that's not the same as a water test.
