Solas 16/23 SD-SC-X for stock 717?

I know pitche measurement can be different for different companies and Solas graph says 16/23 for stock 717 jetboats but on the 717 pwc is says the normal 14/22. Could it be a mistake? If not that ill go with 14/22 concord unless someone has a better one!

The PWC chart lists them both for your model. They are two completely different impellers so the pitch will not be equivalent.
What is wrong with your stock impeller?

I put an "X" impeller on a 587 SP with a Factory pipe. I went for a ride on the ski after doing some work and it bogged really bad in the turns. I thought it had carb issues but i swapped the impeller back to the one previously installed. Ski performed GREAT!! The "X" was too aggressive. Personally I wouldn't chase an impeller. At best you may be 1-2mph out of an aftermarket but you'll loose someplace else. The best way to make a 587 fast is to get a 947.
