single engine speedster

what engine does the older single engine speedster use? I was kind of thinking if i could find one with a blown engine real cheap i might throw my motor in there....

there is a single engine Sportster, has the, depending on yr, a 657 or in 96, went to the 720.

Sportster and challenger are single engine, look up specs to match your motor to the hull, the 717 and 657 look very similar but charging and sparking wiring is very different.

The only single engine speedster are the later ones (merc or 4tec)
