:( Yesterday I posted a question regarding a possible bad fuel pump due to a possible flaw in the Seadoo Sportage allowing water to remain trapped down there and freeze in the winter.(boat is housed in our garage) No one replied saying they had heard of this or had somethng similar - although, I am still hoping someone might.....??

But in the meantime, can someone please tell me the different syptoms of a blown fuel pump vs. just a clogged fuel filter ?

The boat dealership has our '05 Sportage now, but not working on it until end of week. I am just trying to gain insight so I can trust their diagnosis.

Like I said, it did start in driveway - 10 - 15 seconds Friday. Then again once launced, but died after about 20 to 30 seconds. Tried to re-start and it sounded like it was going to catch several times - one time it did - but never stayed started.

Input into the different signs of bad fuel lines vs. clogged fuel filter vs. blown fuses vs. blown fuel pump would be GREATLY appreciated.
Thanks !
