I was going to use Blacktip mats. my question is the rivets?? Do I drill the rivets out and fill them with fiberglass?

I was wondering myself what people use to fill the holes. you can drill out the rivets. the top of the rivet has a overhang so don't drill it out to that size.

I used a quality white silicone. I cleaned out the holes with compressed air and
put silicone in the holes.

Yes, drill the rivots out and fill with Epoxy, Silicone, JB Weld, etc...

Here is a nice how-to for installing your own mats. These were not pre-cut mat kits, which you may have. Also, these mats are without adhesive tape already on the mats, yet another option you have when buying new mats.
