Hello,

I removed my seat cushion on a 2001 Challenger 2000 by drilling the two rivets out and after having the seat repaired am wondering how to reinstall it. I assume you rivet it back, but I was wondering if there was a washer that was attached to the seat that you rivet it too. I have no idea how a rivet will hold the seat in place without one. Thanks for any help.

there is another way of installing the seats. Home depot sells fender darts and you can use them to reinstall your seats, just match up your fender darts to your drilled holes, and then place the fender darts inside the seat, cover them up, so the fender dart will be sticking out the opposite side, and just pop them in place.

Photos please!

Please upload some photos, I plan on doing the same repair on my boat, it would be nice to look at some photos to get an idea on what you are doing, a picture is worth a thousand words. Thanks.

Put rivet in hole, use rivet tool...

Make sure the rivet fits the existing hole or drill a new one, or buy a wider rivet, not sure what the "washer" is needed for, the rivet expands and will hold the seat in place....
