Hello, I have a 97 xp mod heads are milled to 185 psi and the carbs have been redone by rossier. I have everything where it should be but I cant get the motor to turn over. It makes two beeps when you put the key in but one click when you press the start button. The battery reads 13.7

maybe too much compression for the stock starter? 185 is kinda high but i think a solenoid. had the same prob. with a kawi i re-did. bet its a solendoid though. try jumping the 2 posts on the solenoid. if she cranks u need a new solenoid, part #278000513, s hould be around $41 bucks retail.:cheers:
