After winter staying it the garage during trying to start the engine starts to run so fast and loose the control. The MPEM has been disconnected, wires from spark plugs - removed, but engine still runs with quite high RPM, after closing a fuel and running about 1 minute engine stops.
Spark plugs have been dismounted, one was dry another wet.
Please help. What is the reason? :banghead:

You may have a leak around the carbs causing a lean condition! The plug that is dry, what color is it? If it is a greyish white color that would an indication!

Next time it does it, you can kill it by pulling the choke!

Thanks for the answering, but question is next: why the engine was running with disconnected wires from spark plugs i.e. without the spark! (like a diesel engine)

The piston probably has carbon build up on it! Running lean heats it up so much causing it to ignite! Once ignition takes place it doesn't need spark, or gas to keep it going! Mine did it to me after a carb rebuild. It scared the $hit out of me!

Have u recently had the carbs off, or. Adjusted on them? Running the machine too lean will cause this!

No, the carburators have not been rebuilt recently. There was only starter replacement.
So what can you propose?
Thanks.

Put it on the hose and run it! Have your hand on the choke!

What color was that plug? You may need to richen up on that dry side?

What's the compression?

it will diesel. Only way stopping it, is pulling the choke. It happens, when wrapping the throttle, when theres no load on pump. Doesnt happen often, but does happen.

The plug was light brown coloured. Actually compression looks like OK, but I can't say exactly and it is quite difficult to start the engine.

Take it out and run it! It wont do this in the water. Like DOOYA said, it only does this when there is no load on the engine and pump. Run it like you stole it!
