Seadoo stalls jumping big waves

Hi, still very new to this. Took my GTI130 out on the surf yesterday and did a bit of wave jumping.
Is it common for the motor to stall when the ski lands after jumping big waves. I mean like when you launch it about 6ft or so in the air and it lands pretty hard?
The ski is a 2012 gti130 with 55 hours. It's serviced and maintained routinely and has just been to the dealer and hooked up to the computer to install updates as well as clear a dess key fault code showing in the history.
Maybe my lanyard jiggled the key a little causing it to stop the engine. Anyway it started right back up again.

Thanks
Chris

I read where another member used a zip tie to make the fit a bit more snug as they were having the same issue. If you do so, just make sure it is loose enough to come off if you fall off.. I would clean the connections with a pencil eraser as well..

Got to thinking, if the Zip Tie does work, I would swap it out for Black Tape. This way it would not accidently get tighter.

I'd also grab your 10mm and make sure the battery connections are super tight, and the grounds, you might have one that's just a tad loose and your not noticing it unless you jump.

otherwise, certainly the lanyard is a possibility.
