Two questions on the carburettor reinstalling the block

1 should the end hole be restricted as this looks like there is something in there or should I blow this out leaving a clean hole.

2 where the screw is with the plastic gasket and metal retainer under the screw is this sitting correctly or should the retainer sits 180° as I see there is a little hole behind the screw head

The hole should have the plug in it.

You need to spin the retainer plate 180. The little nub fits in the little hole. The plate shouldn’t be bent it should be flat.

Great thanks, with the screw, do I Loctite this in, if so what type of Loctite do you recommend. My issue is the screw is a little loose as the thread appears to be slightly cross threaded.
