Hi guys! We have a seadoo speedster 200 and have an issue with the reverse gate cable down at the bucket, the end of the cable where it connects to lift the bucket up pops out and cannot lift/pull bucket into forward position. Is there an easy fix to this? Cheers

Looks like it's time for a new cable. I broke mine on my 99, but up by the controls. It still should be available from the dealer, not cheap but you can't safely go without it. If you do the replacement you should tie a string to it when you pull it so when you get the new one you can tie the string to the new one and pull it back through easily.

Ok thanks, so is the cable one whole complete piece or can the part on the outside of the hull be replaced separately? Just seems the joint where it swivels has popped out?

The cable should be all one piece, also you're missing some other hardware. What exact year is the boat?

2008 speedster 200. It does look like there's something possibly missing. Not many dealers in Australia stock these boats let alone parts. Help is very limited in the area we're in so any help is much appreciated.

If my research is correct the cable is part# 268000109 (which replaced 204160218) and retails for $109 at the dealer. Looks like the threads on the pin are stripped out so you might need the pin and the nut and washer. Here is a pic of a 2008 Speedster 200.

30-31 is the cable, you should verify the other parts like 9,16,17,35,36,37, and 38
