Dear all,
Im thinking to buy a seadoo spark 3up.
I read a lot of posts regarding the hull cracking and crankshaft problems.
Regarding the crankshaft i read in the forum that this problem pertains to 2014 to 2016 (march) models.
Is that true? Can you please help me to find out what year and month is the spark im going to buy?
Hull number CA-YDV62330J617.
On the log book it says year of built 2016...it doesnt mentioned month.
If the year of build is octomber 2016, it comes with the updated crankshaft?
Thanks in advance

That is a 2017 Spark, so it should have the updated crank with the removable output sleeve. I think the polytech hulls are plenty strong as long as you are reasonably careful with them (don't crash into rocks).
