Seadoo SP running weird

Hooked up the battery, tried to turn the ski over, nothing..not even a click.

Jumped the solenoid and I can hear the starter trying to engage, but doesn't crank.

Would this point to a bad battery?

I would pull the spark plugs and the rear driveshaft cover and make sure you can turn the engine over by hand. If you can then likely bad battery.

Checked the volts of the battery, showing 6 volts after being charged. Hooked it back up to the charger last night and it was reading 11.7 volts. Brought it up to batteries plus where they are going to recharge it and test it, if it is bad (which I believe it is), I will order a new battery.

Engine turns over fine by hand, no issues whatsoever

Batteries plus confirmed battery was toast. Bought a Duracell Ultra battery which has a 2 year warranty. Ski cranked with the new battery. Now she sits for a few months while I wait for warmer temperatures and the lake levels to drop so the ramps open back up.

Weather is getting nice, so I am hoping I am able to get the ski out for a test run this week. If all goes well on the initial test, I am going to change the jet pump oil.

That said - is there any other "general maintenance" items I should go ahead and do on the ski? I read about greasing the pto - how do I know how much grease to pump in?

Changed jet pump oil this morning. Wear ring looks great still.
On to the next project! I want something with more power now..

I spoke too soon.
Rode awesome two weeks ago, now it won't even start in the drive way..
Any thoughts on what to check? I was able to get it to start and run for a few seconds but then it just idles down and dies.

Update: I am just an idiot..I had changed the fuel filter/water separator after the last ride and got pulled away while reassembling so never tightened it down fully. Lol, starting first crank again and will water test tomorrow.

Did notice the tank grommets are leaking so if anybody has the part numbers handy let me know. I will replace them once I run the tank near dry as it is only a slow drip for now.
