seadoo rxtis mantance reminder light?

Hi there im wondering if anyone can help me i just brought a new rxtis i rode it for the first hour then the mantance remininder light came on and it wont go off? the ski runs spot on it doesent miss a beat?can anybody help with this problem?

Its to remind you to go give the Stealer (dealer) some more money. Read your VKS.

You know, I bought a 2009 RXTis and had even less luck than you. I got about 100 yards offshore when it showed up.

Turns out the genius mechanic that prepped mine for delivery did not do the required removal of some shipping tie down and plates that held that cable from the factory.

They were supposed to remove that then reset the computer as the factory sends it with the maintenance light set to come on immediately if the dealer forgets to do the proper procedure which includes resetting that warning.

Sea Doo themselves told me this.

The probably did not forget to take the cable out but we have messed up and sent a couple out with out resetting the maint light. All of the other sea-doos besides the iS and the iBR sea-doos do not require resetting the maint light.

No, I took it to another dealer who was more than happy to show me where the selling dealer fell on their face.

They gave me the cable and plate to show the sales dealer.

It happened to my 2011 within the first half hour. Sucks. Dealer says its a sea doo flaw. For 15000 their shouldnt be any.
