I have a '95 GTX and '98 GTS. I have always used only Seadoo oil in them.

Is there a less expensive and easier to get (I live far from a dealer) Oil?

Thanks

i dont use it. but on a brand new rig it might void warranty if you dont. but i wouldnt mix oils remove the old seadoo oil before you put in a different kind if you decide to. but make sure it is marine 2 stroke oil designed for oil injection

OIL must be API

SeaDoos with RAVE valves must use API oil and not TWC-3. API is a LOW ash oil most others are NO ash. WalMart sells QuickSilver full synthetic API oil for $37a gallon and it is specifically made for SeaDoos. Much cheaper than $69 at the dealer.

Thanks for the quick responses.

Now my question is it it worth it to run synthetic? I have never had a problem (knock on wood) so should I stay with the old standard or upgrade to synthetic?

Thanks
