Hi there-

I just bought a used Seadoo 2001 GTI. I took it out 6 times and it ran wonderful. No issues starting or anything. I did notice that when I pulled the plugs, an unusual amount of oil was coming out. There is still over half of the oil in the gauge, but the bottom continues to gather oil. It must be a leak in hose somewhere, but not sure where to start looking. It seems as though the oil only leaks when the engine is running.

The second issue is that it recently turned over. I turned it back over immediately, but there was about 3 inches of water in the bottom. It didn't run right, and sounded very rough, so I put it up. I checked the fuel ball and there was no water there. Sparkplugs look tight and dry as well. Any ideas as to why the engine would start running rough? It's lost its charge and now I need to charge/jump the battery first.

I guess my questions are, where can I start looking for a leak?
and, a few people thought I might have gotten water in the line and to bleed both the oil and gas and start over. Does that sound reasonable? Thanks for any help/advice. In the Dallas/Ft. Worth area.
