hi guys im new to the site and need some help!
right i have a 185 sc with 84 hours when i bought it last year it was minus 7 and when i started it it smoked on tickover... when i got it back i took it to a jet ski machanic who said it was way to smokey for a 4tec so the testing began!! the compression was in the 130s and oil was ok so i took it out when i was out it went ok no problems at all apart from smoke. after about 2 hours we bought it in and it had used no oil water etc just down on power? due to worn impeller now done. right so to cut the story short i have had new complete set of rings and valves gaskets etc i have changed the oil seal in the s charger and still it smokes on tickover it smokes minamal but when i give it some power it smokes alot???? it only seems to be when i put power down??? it has a modified exhaust and water box and when i looked on you tube there were some on there which smoked like mine? has anyone have any ideas?? thanks guys
