Hello everyone, those anyone know of a good Sea Doo tech for 4TEC Jetskies, in the South Florida area, that works well at a reasonable price?

Riva is down there somewhere. They are a big outfit that knows the skis through and through. I'm not sure how reasonable they would be though. Everybody seems expensive, at least Riva would fix correctly whatever they are charging for.

You can try Ruben at west spot racing.
Hes in the warehouses in 7700 west 24th ave.

The shaft seal and bearing needs replacing, and the more i look at the manual, the more special tools it looks like i need

You don't need any special tools. The only tricky part is that you may have to have one person pull on the driveshaft with light pressure while you tap the rear bearing/oil seal. I use a brass punch and it only takes a few taps. The seadoo tools aren't worth the effort to use. There's nothing hard about removing the driveshaft.

I am afraid you are wrong on this. He didn't say what year or condition 4Tec ski, but on most of them, you need a special tool to push back the stainless collar, and since he is in salt country, it is often about impossible to slide this collar even with the special tools. They need to be cutoff if the driveshaft is rusty. Not a task for a beginner without the special tools.
