I just bought a pump housing for my GTI and its Aluminum. The one on my GTI is plastic. I sucked up some rocks and it wore some of the fins hence my replacing it.
My question is would the Aluminum housing be a better one than the plastic one? My assumption is that it would but, I can see some benefits to having plastic. Anyway I just had to ask.
