Hi there I have a sea-doo 3d I perchased in boxes on stripping it
I found the pistons were seazed in the bores so I rebuilt with new
pistons rings small ends and full gasket set
using a sea-doo guidence shop manual
fild it with oil and fuel etc
put the lanyard on and touched the start button and yahoo
she fired in to life
I ran it no more than a min and switched it of
waited around an hour then started it again connected
the water hose and ran it up to bleed oil
after less than 5 mins it stoped and would not
go again till i put new plugs it ngkbr8es as listed
on sea-doo advice took it to the lake and it did the same
ie ran till i got to the middle and stopped
I got towed back in
compression tested it and its 150 psi on both pots
so managed to borrow a coil of another ski
but still the same
the only thing i'm not sure is that there are two earths
on the crank case one goes to the flywheel cover
and on to the battery but i do not know where the other
one goes
the oth thing I forgot is if you put the plugs that will not
spark in an other ski it will not go iether but they do not
look U/S
can anyone help please

when ever you unhook ar oil injection cable becomes loose, the oil pump goes in save mode, wide open oil injection, and combined with the motor dropping 1 cycl at idle, the ting will eat plugs till you recalubrate the oil injection pump
