Sbt inline oil filters backwards flow?

Bought inline oil filters for my speedster and the directional flow is backwards to the ones previously installed. Stick with original flow or follow sbt designed part?

Thanks. Thats what i did, just strange. The internal filter and design look the exact same.

Yep, follow the arrow. They changed years ago.
