i changed the plugs, fuel filter, gray lines, fluids and had carbs rebuilt but i still loose power right when im about to plane!!! what should i do next???

it pretty random sometimes it will will hit the rev limit and sometimes it won't go past 3000 on avg propbly 5000. after it loses power I have get of the throt completly and then get back on it to get out of the hole.

I am not sure on the temp, did it have these problems before you rebuilt the carbs? did you clean/replace the internal filters?

The gauge reads about91-93 f, it was having the same problem, I paid 600 to get the carbs rebuilt they should have cleand them or changed

if it has grey fuel lines, then replace those, and go thru carbs again. I'd go thru them, make sure there isnt a different color "spring" in the n/s assy. Also, re-check the settings of the lsa/hsa, and turn idle up some.

If all those checks out, then locate rectifier, and disconnect the red wire from it. If thats fixes it, then replace it.

Keep in mind too, that if the lines were original, then you should also clean or replace the fuel valve. I also would be looking at the carbs and possibly an incorrect popoff pressure setting.

Thats the exact problem Im having..mine sat for a couple years get it running no problem had it on a hose last night but it idles at 3500 out of water is that alright? Im gonna go on the water running it on the reserve and see if that works or not if it does then im bypassing the switch! Seems like thats a common problem. If that doesnt work im going to try the rectifier wire trick and see what happens..start cheap right lol!

I justed wanted to see if you knew that. ha ha I had now idea 93 didnt have em. The good news is you dont have to clean them now.
