RXTX Intake Grate

Anyone replace the stock intake grate for one of the WORX ones?? RIVA website claims it improves acceleration and stability..

I heard good things about upgrading the grate but with all the horror stories ive read with breaking bolts, i dont want to attempt to take mine off

It will not improve acceleration and will actually cost you a little top speed. What it will do is keep the pump hooked up in rough water a little better.

So its only worth installing for sea riding rather than on a lake?
