Hi everyone,

Today was a very nice spring day here in the netherlands, so i took my rxp-x 260 out for a spin.
The first half hour it ran like a beast. Later it felt like something was clogging up the jet pump, like it sucked something up... But that wash't the case. There was no light in my dash or something it just didn't go full power. It was just like you were going with the learning key or on eco mode.
Is it possible the ski is running on 2 cilinders or something?

Hope you guys can help me out...

Thanks in advance!!

It didn't do max rpm think about 7000... Just felt like it was running rough like on 2 cilinders! Sc did give full boost...

Sounds like a spark plug failed. The engine acts like it is going into limp mode. Change all three. Super charged engine use up spark plugs. Manual says to change ever year.

This. I've read some of this gentleman's posts and he is the only person I have ever read on this forum that understands the necessity of checking spark plug function under pressure which most folks don't have the ability to do and you can buy a lifetime supply of new ones before it makes sense to own the right testing equipment.

Thanks.. That would explain the problem. Wil get some new plugs and try this out. NGK DCPR8E are the right ones?

It took me a while to find the time to change the plugs and try it..
During warm up all seemed fine but when i put the ski in sportmode it did exactly the same thing as with the old spark plugs.
After switching from sport to eco a few times the problem disappeared and i stayed out for a few hours...
Any idea what could have caused this glitch??

I will make an appointment at the dealer to put the ski on the computer, maybe they can find out something...
