What is a good way to route 1996 speedster 717 right motor rotary valve return hose to prevent tuned pipe over heating the hose?

Just rin it in the stock location, the pipe should never get hot enough to melt the hose.

I am new to these sea doo type boats, engines and I believe stock location means under the tuned pipe.

Thanks for the reply.

Like you, I don't like rubber hoses around things that get hot. LOL I agree with Miki on the pipe temperature. Sometimes I'll use a ty-wrap to make me feel more comfortable.

Like the humor! These days you need a little smile. Anyways I will ty- wrap it. While I got your attention. I like to take a picture of the oil tank (later) so you can see how it is configured. This boat needs a lot of work. Both engines start-up but it is a salt water boat. the right (starboard) engine is leaking oil under the motor. It is a mixed oil boat. replaced the rotary valve and return oil lines. Still leaks. Plan on getting a ball valve to control the oil output.

Thanks for the support.

If the lines you used were too stiff they won't seal properly and will drip ever so slightly but over time it will add up. I fought one ski before I got it all sealed up. Put a white paper towel under there to see what was leaking then go back and check. I suspect you have a hose leak or fitting. I am still looking for a source for the OIL lines other than Seadoo (8mm and 12mm I believe). They are awfully proud of those hoses $$.

Clean the bottom up real good and lay down some paper towels. Good Luck !!
