Rotary Valve Question

I need a new rotary valve for a 1996 GTI. Has the Rotax 717 motor. with twin carbs. When I look up parts diagram there are two part numbers listed. Part#290924508 Rotary Valve (147), and Part #290924502 Rotary Valve (159). Which one do I need? Thanks

The number of degrees they are open.
Stock with the correct one for your engine. Don’t buy WSM ones ask the gear teeth aren’t cut correctly.
