Okay so while stopping out and replacing hoses I found a break/crack in the pipe bracket. Anyone know what could have caused this? I'm going to weld this back together, but want to prevent it from happening again.1466426415556.jpg

I don't know what ski you have, but since it's in the 2-stroke section, it's probably 20 years or more old. I would say metal fatigue is the cause.

depending on the model you have, a replacement pipe is pretty inexpensive, usually cost more to ship than they are worth.

Well it's a newer pipe put in by the previous owner. Looks like it sat to high and the seat/rider weight is bearing down on it. (Indention in the seat pan). I'm going to reweld it, aneeling the pipe so I can deform it slightly to fit under the seat better. I will also slightly modify the bottom of the seat pan to give more clearance from that side too.
