Rooster Tail

Today i noticed something, when i run a water hose in my yard, working on my ski, i have a rooster tail of water that shoots from the rear, from a small port under the eyehole where you attach the rope.

When im on the lake running my ski, no water ejects from this port. Is it always supposed to have a rooster tail? shooting from the rear?

Got me to thinking, if it is supposed to always have a rooster tail, maybe im not getting water into my engine like im supposed to while on the lake.

Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thank You,

Demples

low pisser pressure

Here is a pic of your cooling system. If the pisser has low tell-tale pressure, could
mean low venturi pressure from worn wear ring, tuned pipe nipples or hoses can
be clogged and in need of wire-ing and air-chucking to clear the passages, sand
in hoses, cylinders cavities. That pisser, as you can see in this link, is from the
exhaust manifold drain line. Exhaust pipe 90*fitting clogged. Bills86e

Ok, I will take all my cooling lines and fittings loose and snake them out, and use some compressed air to blow them clear,

Judging from your post, im still not sure that the rooster tail should always be spraying water or not. Is it supposed to constantly be spraying water?
