Rogue piece of tube

So cleaning the inside of the hull by running a hose through and this piece of stainless tube comes out the drain hole.
Any idea? It’s about an inch long

Looks like a bushing spacer.

Surplus or could it have come away ? I did take the carbs off but don’t remember this piece

Looks similar to the spacers that go in the gray box on the metal rectifier mounting plate that the ground wires are fastened too...not sure how it would have made its way into the bilge unless someone was messing with it and it rolled under the gas tank to be flushed out by you at a later time...
