Hi
I am starting to re-build my motor now 4-Tec 260 S/C
The re-bore came up beautiful
When I was putting the piston oil sprays in the motor the service manual says to torque them down to 19 N-M or 168 lbf-in is that correct
My torque wench only goes down to 28 N-M so I torque them to that, but they don't seem to be very tight for something that if comes loose could cause a lot of damage ?????????????????

19 Nm is correct. How did you tighten al the little bolts which require 9 Nm?
Best is to invest in a small torque wrench. You don't need expert knowledge (basic brain) but knowing where to find the info - but you need the proper tools to do the job.

Ya I will get a small torque for the 9 Nm but I just did not think 19 Nm was very tight I know when I pulled the motor apart they were a lot tighter than 19 Nm infect it took a lot of force to undo them
the motor had only done 85 hours so I assume it had not be pulled apart since new.
