Hello,
I recently purchased these 2 GTX Seadoo's, I have them both running now I have an issue with one of them the reverse does not work. On the skii in question there is a spring missing witch i will replace, that howerever should not hinder the actual reverse from workng. I disconected the cable from the reverse mechanism thinking that perhaps the actual mechanics may be frozen, since these PWC were used in salt water before. That was not the case the reverser mechanism moves up and down with out a problem. The culprit seems to be the cable, it is frozen it will not move when i actuate the reverse handle. The cable appears to be in good condition no visible rust.
My question, is there a lockout of some sort, or what can i do to free this, without replacing the cable, and is it some thing easy to fix?
Thank you,
Fed
