I've worked on most every type of machine /equipment there is. Started working on Sea-Doos last year. I almost always use OEM parts on my tractors, boats, trucks etc. There seems to be a much bigger price difference between OEM Sea-Doo parts and aftermarket parts for Sea_Doos than on other equipment brands I've worked on. So much so I'm concerned about whether the aftermarket parts are cheaper in quality. Or is there just that much mark-up on OEM parts??

I'm getting ready to re-build two pumps. Does anyone know if the quality of the aftermarket part kits are equivalent in quality as the OEM? Are they good quality parts or are they that cheap for a reason?

SBT are one of the vendors I'm looking at.

Thanks.

If I'm going to rebuild something I'm going to use straight up OEM seadoo parts unless of course I'm building my machine to my specifications (upgrading intake grate, smaller jet nozzle, etc.)

I try not to cut corners on something that can potentially leave me stranded 3 miles or so away from the dock.
