Repair instructions for an engine compartment cable for 1997 Seadoo Challenger 1800

I recently broke the t-pull handle located under the driver side storage compartment on my 1997 Seadoo Challenger 1800 which opens the engine/storage compartment in the back. I have ordered part # 204070049 which comes with the cable that runs to the back engine compartment latch. Wanted to see if anyone has instructions on how to install this part, or have done it, as I wanted to see if it is something I can install myself.

Thank you for any info anyone can provide on this endeavor...I am mechanically inclined and have some tools, but know when I am in over my head, lol.

Check the manual, should be pretty ease to fix, I'd tape the new cable to the old one and use it to fish the new one into place..

I managed to get the new cable and install it without too much trouble. I did have to take out a speaker which was blocking the cable from being pulled all the way through, but aside from that, not too difficult of a job. Hopefully I won't break anything else on my nice boat
