Removing the Oil Pump on my 2 stroke

Why? The seadoo system is extremely reliable and you will use a lot less oil.

If you must you have to keep oil in the rotary gear cavity by either keeping the oil tank or looping the line and always monitoring the oil level. You must also block the nipples on the intake manifold and get a block off kit or remove the oil pump drive gear.
 
I removed the pump on my 96 gti when I rebuilt the engine last winter. Thought this was a good idea. After using it 1 season and reading multiple threads on this subject I put it back on last weekend. The big factor was how much more it smokes with premix at idle and low speeds. Same oil and 40/1 next to my 95 xp it was major. Now the smoke is very slight.
