So since we don't have a fishing forum for the boats, I felt is was probably appropriate to post this here.

This time of year, the Red River of the North becomes a world-class Channel Catfish fishery. People travel from all over to fish from Fargo, ND to Winnepeg, MB.

This is a collection of the best trips of July, 2012. August will be even better. And of course, nothing is better than cruising the river in a 20ft glass boat! HA!

Neat video.
That's a cool rod holder rig. Can you still open the engine lid with it attached? That setup would be cool for trolling. Now all you need is a trolling motor and a livewell.

Wish I could as that is where our stern lights are and I tend to forget how late we fish every time. I do have to pull it out early. It is easy enough to pull off with the wingnuts I used.

The trolling motor is a topic I researched, then I realized, I don't troll in this boat ever. If I go back to Walleyes, i will dig into it further.
