I just picked up a pair of '96 Sea Doo GTI skis...they are one owner skis but have been in storage for about 2 years. I'm guessing draining and replacing all the fluids, new batteries, etc...anyone have a checklist of sorts that I should go over before I try and crank on the ignition?
Engines are physically clean and skis are a bit beat up, but should still be seaworthy..
Also, any easy way to bypass the key system? Seems the original owner misplaced one of the keys.
Thanks in advance, I have a complete shop manual...just want to make sure I don't do any catastrophic damage before I get it sorted out.
Thanks in advance, I've looked at a few online PWC forums and this one seems to have the best crowd.

Background- average mechanical ability, big hands. I've done internal engine work on cars and on motorcycles, not too much on the two stroke world but anxious to get dirty.
