Rebuilt the jet pump stwrting issues

So i rebuild the pump and now when i start it the seadoo rattles and shakes
Wen i looked thru the intake grade i can see grease splatter and the impeller is scraping / scratching the new wear ring a bit

Any thoughts ? I didny put the imput shaft coming from the hull rubber end piece the jet pump wouldnt fit like that

You have to have the rubber bumpers on both ends of the driveshaft.

Yes that’s the bumper, you need one on both ends.
