Rebuilt carbs. Idles perfect now surges

1992 gtx......Would run and die and backfire and everything inbetween.hard start.

Rebuilt carbs today. Idles perfect give it any Gas it surges

I ordered mikuni. But when it came it said mikuni super so I doubt it's genuine mikuni

Then you need to order an actual Mikuni kit. OSD has easy one stop shopping for them and they are genuine mikuni.

That's what its doing. Could it be mpem ? I have another one I can throw in there and test before rebuilding carbs again

I would run fuel to the carbs directly from the fuel pickup, to eliminate petcock/fuel lline issues..,if problems continue, then go through the carbs again, you may have overlooked something, I don't think its a carb hardware issue.

Running fuel directly didn't work. Must be somthing with the carbs.

Ok I rebuilt carbs with genuine mikuni rebuild kit. Still the same issue.
