Rebuild a top end on 95 Gtx

i need help to rebuild my 95 GTX
one bad piston and the crank doesnt turn

If you need a piston and an crank, you're going to be better off buying a short block.

thanks for the reply you mean buying the top end?well im taking the top end a part and will see what im going encounter.i took the top covers and i did see one piston bad

You said the crank doesn't turn, I'm assuming bad crank bearings. Is this the case?

I guess so i have got there yet.
i wondering if you can tell me the best way to get there?the motor still inside do i have to pull out or can i do it with inside?
do i have to remove the carb?

What Lou is telling u is if your crank is locked up like you said ur gunna need a full rebiuld or get a new motor from sbt the crank is in the bottom end sbo best bet is to pull spark plugs and see if you can turn motor over by hand.

Also yes you will want to remove Carbs and do a fresh rebiuld w a fresh motor. Why chance messing up a new motor. Good luck and let us know if its locked up.
