I had just cleaned rave valves and replaced the caps, boots, springs, all of it. And my ski will want to get up and go right at first for like a second if that. and then cuts down too putting around. My question is. The red adjuster that’s in the black caps , if they are not set correctly will it cause my problem I am having. 1996 Sea-Doo Xp

The raves don’t come into play until 4500-5000 rpm. If your hang up is in that range, they could be the problem...

Yeah I would say rpms are around that range... I went with aluminum caps (the ones that screw onto the rave valve) should I go back to the stock black plastic ones. Reason I had to go into them was one of the black plastic caps got wore out pretty good.

Put the stock ones back on and see if the problem goes away. The rave bellies failing is caused by either a bad/brittle o ring, or by excessive tolerance between the rave valve stem and the housing...

Would the one that’s on the exhaust cause any problems? Took cap off and spring was broke in half.

Yes, you need to replace that spring. The water regulator controls the flow of water injected into the exhaust pipe, and effects top end power and cooling. Keep in mind that the spring in the regulator is NOT the same as the rave spring...
