think the problem i am having is the rave valves just read the troubleshooting in the sea doo mamual have a 98 spx when in water and go full throttle jet ski has a 3 to 6 second delay and then takes of same thing happens all day am i looking in the right place and how long does it normaly take i am a tech for the state which means i work on every thing but jet ski thanks for the help

Mine does that too... but only the first time I gun it after I launch. Every time after that, esp. after it warms up, it is fine. You say yours does this even after it warms up?

their very easy to clean
each one requires a new gasket and o ring if you do take them off
just clean the grease and soot off with wd-40 or i like to use brake cleaner and spray em down with wd-40 when im done. oh and by the way, you'll need wire brushes and steel wool to clean the paddles.

Remove top plastic cover (watch for spring) 1 minute
Remove 2 5mm hex bolts 3 minutes
Dissasembly and cleaning 10 minutes
Assembly 10 minutes

In a perfect world I guess. Very simple to do. Remember which way they go into the cylinders.
