RAVE Question

I cleaned my RAVE valves on both skis and put 1 hour of ride time on each ski yesterday.
I just now pulled the rear RAVE on each ski and was a bit surprised that after only 1 hour they were already starting to get fairly gunky and already had hardend carbon deposits crusted on them. Is this normal to gunk up that quickly. I must add that I am currently running a mixture of Amsoil Interceptor and Amsoil Injector. Very long story short, when I got the skis a few years ago I inadvertently bought the Injector oil instead of Interceptor, discovered I should be using the Interceptor oil so drained and switched. I had a pretty long discussion with Amsoil tech who assured me that the two oils were compatible to mix, so I've been occasionally been topping off with the Injector oil to use up the 2 gallons I had originally bought and drained back out of the skis, knowing this was going to cause a need for more frequent RAVE cleaning. (just a side note as I DON'T want to turn this into an oil debate, just a simple RAVE question. But the amsoil tech was claiming that even their injector oil would keep the inside of my engine cleaner than other brands. )

So my basic question is:

- is the amount of buildup I saw after only 1 hour of ride time normal? ( I should also mention that I have 5 mintue idle time thru a no wake zone to get to my dock, don't know if that last 5 minutes of ride time being at idle speed is causing extra gunking of the Raves)?

- is the mixing of the injector oil to use it up causing that much additional gunking?

- is there another issue?

Just to mention also, the reason I checked the RAVES this morning is that the day before I cleaned my RAVES, I cleaned 15 years of oil buildup from my hull/engine using Dawn dishwasing soap and Hot water. I tried to avoid spraying more than a light mist on top of the engine when rinsing, but when I removed the RAVEs from one ski they had some gray sludge. I was surprise that much water penetrated the gasket, or could it possibly have come from somewhere else? Anyway I pulled the RAVES this morning to confirm no new gray sludge and there was not, just black

RAVE gaskets and O rings were replaced new the last time I cleaned the raves.
There is not any oil around the base of the gaskets to indicate they are leaking.
Red caps are adjusted flush with the top of the black cap.
I did a compression test on both skis last week that gave me 150 on both cylinders on both skis.
Both skis just passed 100 hours of run time this week.
