Hey i just have a quick carb question as I am rebuilding them tonight.
Model: Sea Doo 97 Gtx/787
I am using the OSD pressure tester in conjunction with my air compressor and a tire pump handle. I have seen this done "2" ways one is with the air source connected to the hose end shown below and the other is using a plastic barb fitting with orings and going in through where the filter resides.
I tried going through the hose port shown below and air just comes out of the air filter port. What is the proper way to test the pop off pressure? My pressure tester did not come with a barb fitting for the filter area so I am assuming I just need to re-assembled that end of the carb & then test through the bottom hose port?
Just wanted to clarify as I keep seeing different ways shown on different sites.
Or close off both bottom nipples and find a fitting to use the filter port on the backside as shown here
